WHAT IS THE TALE FOR ?
books aren't just for telling stories. They allow your children to share their ideas and opinions, as well as to strengthen their language skills and listening skills. Remember that reading is a perfect activity to comfort, play, heal and teach at all times. No need to wait for bedtime to indulge!

New You can write your own story and draw the illustrations. Then you can read your story to your family.
New You can read by doing crosswords.
You can read a book to your stuffed animals.
Choose a book that you have already read and change the end of the story. Then you can tell your new story to your family.
Reading is everywhere around you, you can read a book, a recipe, a magazine, instructions for a board game, ingredients on your favorite cereal box etc ...
Choose a sound that you learned with your teacher (ex: OU) and try to find the sound in your book. You can also count the number of times you find the sound in your book.
Give yourself a challenge ... Read the same number of minutes in English and French or Read the same number of pages in English and French.
